Corn Roast - Sun Aug 8th

John Faber, VE3CNF, will host NPARC's Annual Corn Roast on Sunday, August 8th, 2010 from 2 to 6 pm at his QTH. Directions to his home can be found at his web site, Hillside Haven Bed and Breakfast or by clicking here.

This specific date was selected as, again, no rain is forecast (yet) ... this time we'll get it right/dry ... maybe ... <grin>.

All current and future club members are invited to attend. Complimentary food and soft drinks await you.

Bring your cheque book as someone from the executive will be there to collect membership dues for the coming year. If you have folding lawn chairs, bring them along too.

As for bringing things along, those attending are encouraged to consider bringing a side dish. Please communicate with the Special Events Coordinator as we get closer to the date of the event to avoid extra duplicate redundancies.

Please note: there will be a donation bucket by the gate when you come into the patio. Your toonies, loonies and gov't issued colored small numbered paper will be used to defray the cost of the event ... any surplus will be deposited into general revenue and any deficit will covered from club resources.

Contact Special Events Coordinator at events@nparc.on.ca and let him know you plan to attend.
