VHF Net Resumes - Mon Sep 6
Tuesday, August 24, 2010 - Posted By: VE3LVW
The
NPARC year is fast approaching and we hope to activate the Monday night
net on VE3NRS. The net is set to resume officially on Sept 6th at 7pm
but check VE3NRS on Aug 30th for a test run as we all make sure the
equipment is ready for Sept 6th.
Once again we need additional net controllers. As an example, if we had
6 net controllers each one would have to do it once every 6 weeks - I
believe that's a light load to add to everyone's schedules in these
busy times.
How about you ? No experience is necessary !
A preamble is available which helps anyone that has little or no net
experience. The net practically runs itself ! Hi hi
The net is informal in nature, no set agenda, just a way to keep the
club 'on-the-air'.
If you are willing to help out please send an email to president@nparc.on.ca.
For those that fell they are not quite ready to run a net please check into the net as often as you can.
